Coca-Cola Q1 comparable EPS 0.86 usd, up 18%
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 28 apr - The US beverage group Coca-Cola said that in the first quarter earnings per share grew 18% year on year to 0.91 dollars and comparable EPS was up 18% to 0.86 dollars.
Net revenues grew 12% to 12.5 billion dollars, and organic revenues increased 10%, driven by an 8% increase in concentrate sales and 2% growth in price/mix.
The operating margin was 35.0% versus 32.9% in the prior year and the comparable operating margin was 34.5% against 33.8%.
For the full year, the company still expects to deliver organic revenue growth of 4-5%.
Coca-Cola now expects to deliver comparable currency neutral EPS excluding acquisitions and divestitures growth of 6-7% and comparable EPS growth of 8-9% versus 3.00 dollars in 2025.
It still expects to generate free cash flow of approximately 12.2 billion dollars. This consists of cash flow from operations of some 14.4 billion dollars, less capital.
