Meanwhile, the stock of foreign direct investment in Canada increased by 52.4 billion dollars, or 4.0%, to 1,360.3 billion.

As a result, Canada's net direct investment position with the rest of the world grew by 86.4 billion dollars in 2023 to 811.0 billion.
