Brent futures slip as Novorossiysk port reopens
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 17 nov - Brent futures edged lower after Russia's Novorossiysk port resumed operations following a two day shutdown caused by a Ukrainian drone strike.
The restart of activity at Russia's second-largest oil export hub eased supply concerns that had briefly pushed crude prices more than 2% higher at the end of last week.
Market participants are assessing whether the outage will leave any lasting impact on export flows or if shipments will normalize fully in the coming days.
At 0950 GMT, crude oil futures were down 47 cents, or 0.73%,.
at 63.92 dollars a barrel.
