Brent futures drop, still set for biggest weekly gain since mid-May
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 11 set - Brent futures dropped as reports of possible talks between Iran and Gulf states on managing Strait of Hormuz shipping cooled supply fears, after a rally of more than 10% this week put the benchmark on track to close above 100 dollars a barrel for the first time since mid-May.
Continued attacks along Middle East shipping routes, including a Houthi seizure of Yemen's port of Mocha on the Red Sea, kept the market on edge.
At 0854 GMT, crude oil futures fell 2.76% to 104.66 dollars a.
barrel.
