(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 28 mag - Italy's Banca Ifis said it has signed a binding agreement to sell the non-performing loan management company ARECnerprix to the Italian asset management group Prelios for 30 million euros.

ARECnerprix is wholly-owned by Illimity Bank, which Banca Ifis acquired last year.

Banca Ifis expects the deal to close by the end of June and to boost its CET1 capital ratio by 10 basis points.

ARECnerprix and Illimity Bank have also signed a multi-year servicing agreement that will ensure continuity in the management of the group's portfolio after deal closing.

According to Banca Ifis, the disposal fits with its trategy to focus on core activities while ensuring sustainable growth.
