Atos sees positive organic growth over 2026; year of stabilization
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 6 mar - French technology firm Atos said it expects 2026 to be a year of stabilization, delivering positive organic growth with a downside scenario limited to a 5% contraction with an operating margin of around 7%.
In 2025, Atos posted revenue of 8.001 billion euros, down from 9.577 billion in 2024, but in line with the previously communicated target of above 8 billion.
The Atos SBU generated revenue of 6.963 billion euros, down 16.2% organically, while the Eviden SBU revenue was up 6.7% to 1.039 billion. The group operating result reached 351 million euros, up from 199 million in 2024, representing 4.4% of revenue compared to 1.9% in 2024, above the previously communicated target of around 340 million or above 4%.
This represents 104% organic growth year-on-year, despite a 1.282 billion euro organic revenue decline.
For this year, Atos also expects positive net change in cash before debt repayment, M&A and at constant currency.
The group foresees an acceleration of profitable growth and cash generation to accelerate in 2027 and in 2028. Assuming the disposal of Advanced Computing in 2026 and a progressive reduction of its geographic footprint.
It expects to generate organic revenue CAGR of 5-7% between 2026 and 2028, with strategic, targeted, and disciplined M&A possibly increasing revenue further over the period. it also expects to reach an operating margin of around 10% in FY 2028, supported by cost reduction measures and profitable growth, partially offset by an acceleration of R&D investments.
To achieve a leverage ratio below 1.5x net debt/OMDAL in fiscal year 2028. On the path to an investment grade rating,.
the group expects to achieve a BB profile in 2027.
