(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 17 mar - The Milan-based utility A2A said it posted an adjusted net profit of 686 million euros in 2025, down by 16% compared to the year earlier. Net profit fell by 1% excluding the effect of the normalization of hydropower production.

EBITDA declined by 4% to 2.243 billion euros, due mainly to the normalization of hydropower production. Excluding that effect, EBTIDA rose by 4%.

Adjusted revenue rose by 9% to 14 billion euros, boosted by the consolidation of the company Duereti and an increase in volumes sold, particularly in electricity.

Investments totalled 1.7 billion euros, up by 11% compared to the year earlier.

A2A said its board would propose the payment of a dividend of 0.104 euros per share on 2025 earnings, a 4% increase compared to 2024.

In 2026, A2A is targeting an adjusted net profit of 0.63-0.65.
