Q1 sales 8.0 bln usd, down 0.3% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 30 Apr - The US chemical and consumer goods group 3M said that in the first quarter of 2024 earnings per share fell 5% to 1.67 dollars and adjusted EPS rose 21% to 2.39 dollars.

Sales totalled 8.0 billion dollars, down 0.3%, with organic sales flat year on year.

Adjusted sales were up 0.5% with adjusted organic sales increase of 0.8% Adjusted operating income margin was 21.9%, an increase of 4.0 percentage points.

Operating cash flow and adjusted free cash flow stood at 0.8 billion dollars.
