Q4 GDP up 3.4% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 25 Apr - Real gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the US rose at an annual rate of 1.6% in the first quarter of 2024, according to the advanced estimate released by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Expectations were for GDP to rise 2.5%.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, real GDP increased 3.4%.
