Expectations were for sales of 668,000 units.

The median sales price of new houses sold in March was 387,400 dollars. The average sales price was 503,100 dollars.

The seasonally-adjusted estimate of new houses for sale at the end of March was 481,000. This represents a supply of 8.5.
