(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 1 apr - US retail sales in February, seasonally and workday adjusted, rose 0.6% from the previous month to 738.4 billion dollars and were up 3.7% year on year, according to preliminary data released by the US Census Bureau.

Expectations were for sales to rise 0.5% month on month.

The December to January percent change was revised from down.

0.2% to down 0.1%.
