Up 0.9% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 30 Apr - Home prices in the 20 largest metropolitan areas of the US rose 7.3% in February compared to the same period of last year, S&P Dow Jones said in its latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices report.

Expectations were for a 6.7% rise.

The national index posted a 6.4% annual gain while the 10 city index increased 8.0% year-over-year.

On a monthly basis and before seasonal adjustments, the 20 city index rose 0.9% in February, while the 10 city index advanced 1.0% and the national index posted a 0.6% increase.
