(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 28 apr - Home prices in the 20 largest metropolitan areas of the US rose 0.9% in February compared to the same period of last year, S&P Dow Jones said in its latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices report.

Expectations were for 1.1% rise.

The national index posted a 0.7% annual gain while the 10 city index increased 1.5% year-over-year.

On a monthly basis and before seasonal adjustments, the 20 city index rose 0.4% in February, while the 10 city index.

advanced 0.6% and the national index posted a 0.3% increase.
