April building permits down 3.0% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - 16 May - US building permits fell 3.0% in April compared to March at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,440,000 and were 2.0% below the April 2023 rate of 1,470,000.

Expectations were for 1.48 million permits.
