UK March CPI up 3.2% yr/yr vs 3.4% in Feb

Up 0.6% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 17 Apr - The UK's consumer prices index (CPI) rose 3.2% in the 12 months to March 2024, down from 3.4% in February, according to the Office for National Statistics.

On a monthly basis, CPI rose 0.6% in March.

The consumer prices index including owner occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) rose 3.8% in the 12 months to March 2024, unchanged from February.

On a monthly basis, CPIH rose 0.6% in March.

Core CPI (excluding energy, food, alcohol and tobacco) rose 4.2% in the 12 months to March 2024, down from 4.5% in February.

Core CPIH grew 4.7% in the 12 months to March 2024, down slightly from 4.8% in February.
