(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 20 giu - Consumer confidence in the UK improved to -18 in June from -20 in May, the highest reading since December but below the -14 reading in June 2024, according to the GfK Consumer Confidence Barometer published jointly by GfK and the Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions.

"With petrol prices set to rise in the coming weeks following the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, and with ongoing uncertainty as to the full impact of tariffs, there is still much that could negatively impact consumers," said.
