April industry output seen up adj 4.1% mth/mth, May up 4.4% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Tokyo, 30 Apr - In March, industrial production in Japan rose a seasonally adjusted 3.8% from February and fell an unadjusted annual 6.7%, according to preliminary data released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.

Shipments rose an adjusted monthly 4.3% and fell an unadjusted annual 7.1% while inventories were up 1.1% and down 0.9%, respectively.

In April, industrial output is seen rising an adjusted monthly 4.1% and in May by 4.4%.
