(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 30 apr - Italy's unemployment rate fell to 5.2% in March, down by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month, according to data from statistics institute Istat.

The jobless rate for youth, or those between the ages of 15 and 24, rose by 0.6 percentage points to 18.1%.

Italy's employment rate was steady at 62.4% in March while the economically inactive rate grew by 0.1 percentage points.
