Domestic PPI down 0.4% mth/mth, down 12.7% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 02 May - In March 2024, industrial producer prices in Italy fell by 0.2% compared to the previous month and were down 9.6% year on year after falling at a 10.8% annual pace in February, data from statistics institute Istat showed.

On the domestic market, industrial producer prices decreased by 0.4% month on month and by 12.7% compared to the year earlier after falling at a 14.2% annual pace in February.

On foreign markets, prices were unchanged month on month, reflecting a 0.1% increase in the eurozone and a 0.2% decline on other markets. Year on year, prices were 1.2% lower, with a 2.0% decline in the eurozone and a 0.5% decline on other makets.
