Mortgage rates fall to 4.21% in March (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan, 10 May - The Bank of Italy added that the average mortgage rate applied to Italian households fell to 4.21% in March from 4.31% in February.

The average interest rate on consumer loans however rose to 10.61% from 10.59%.

The average rate for new loans to non-financial firms slipped to 5.26% from 5.34% in February.
