(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 31 mar - In February, German preliminary, calendar- and seasonally adjusted retail sales fell a real 0.6% month on month and down a nominal 0.7%, according to preliminary data released by the statistics office Destatis.

Year on year, retail sales grew a real 0.7% and advanced a nominal 1.6%.

In January calendar- and seasonally adjusted retail sales fell a real 1.1% from the previous month and dropped a nominal 0.1%.

The monthly readings were revised down from a decline of real 0.9% and unchanged on a nominal basis.

Annually, retail sales rose a real 1.0% and grew a nominal.

2.3% in January.
