March exports up adj 0.9% mth/mth, imports up 0.3% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Berlin, 07 May - In March, Germany's trade surplus for goods widened to an calendar and seasonally adjusted 22.3 billion euros from 21.4 billion euros in February 2024 and 17.2 billion euros in March 2023, according to the statistics office Destatis.

Exports, on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis, totalled 134.1 billion euros, up 0.9% on the previous month and 1.2% year on year.

Imports reached 111.9 billion euros, up 0.3% on the previous month and down 3.0% on the same month a year earlier.
