Up 0.5% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris, 07 May - In the first quarter of 2024, French private payroll employment rose 0.2%, adding 50,500 jobs, after falling 0.1% in the previous quarter, destroying 12,600 jobs, according to the statistics office Insee.

Private payroll employment exceeded its first quarter 2023 level by 0.5%, or 101,100 jobs, and its pre-Covid crisis level at the end of the fourth quarter of 2019 by 6.2%, or 1.2 million jobs.
