EU March retail sales up 1.2% mth/mth, up 2.0% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Brussels, 07 May - In March 2024, seasonally adjusted retail trade volumes in the eurozone increased by 0.8% compared with the previous month while calendar adjusteed retail sales increased by 0.7% compared to the year earlier, data from European Union statistical office Eurostat showed.

For the EU as a whole, retail trade volumes increased by 1.2% month on month and by 2.0% year on year.

In February 2024 compared with the previous month, retail trade volume fell by 0.3% in the eurozone and by 0.1% in the EU.
