A new SPAC in Borsa Italiana: Space 2 joins MIV

-       Second SPAC promoted by Space Holding

-       €300 million at IPO

Today a new company, Space 2, debuts on MIV, the market of Borsa Italiana dedicated to investment vehicles. Space 2 is a SPAC under Italian law promoted by the investment company Space Holding.

Space Holding had previously listed on MIV the SPAC Space, which has then incorporated FILA.

A SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) is a corporate vehicle created to raise capital through an IPO in order to carry out mergers or acquisitions of other companies. Since 2011 6 companies of this type has been listed on Borsa Italiana’s markets.

Space 2 raised €300 million at IPO and received orders by 80 primary institutional Italian and foreign investors. Equita SIM S.p.A. acted as Sponsor, Global Coordinatori and Sole Bookrunner.
