Banca Sistema debuts on STAR segment of Borsa Italiana

-         The company raised €146 million at IPO

Today Banca Sistema debuts on the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana’s main market.
Banca Sistema was founded in 2011 as a bank specialised in financing trade receivables owed by the Italian Public Administrations.

The company raised €146 million at IPO, excluding the greenshoe option. The market capitalisation is €302 million.
Intermonte SIM S.p.A. is the sponsor and Barclays Bank PLC is Global Coordinator of the offering.

At the beginning of the negotiations Barbara Lunghi, Head Mid and Small Caps of Borsa Italiana said:

STAR segment of MTA Market of Borsa Italiana is dedicated to medium companies with a market capitalisation from €40 million - €1 billion and committed to respect requirements of excellency in terms of transparency, Corporate Governance and high liquidity. With the admission of Banca Sistema the segment includes 69 companies.
