Technical Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsabilities

• Analyze the requirements for a wide range of applications such as corporate data warehouse, data distribution apps and reporting systems and develop technical requirements for software vendors and internal developers
• Suggest technical solutions, specify implementation details, formalize and document the solution agreed
• Carry out hands-on tactical/rapid application development
• Perform pro-active maintenance and common application administration tasks
• Manage application changes on test and production environments
• Ensure that agreed deadlines related to relevant projects are met
• Interact and provide technical support for other MTS teams like Product Management, Client Services, Market Monitoring and Accounting.

Experiences and skills

• 3+ years of experience in systems or technical analysis
• Financial industry background is a plus
• Hands-on experience with web applications, core Java and J2EE technology
• General knowledge of Data Warehouse/BI solutions
• Oracle/SQL knowledge
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment
• Unix shell and Perl scripts
• Any project management skills would be beneficial
• Language: English (written and spoken).

• Good Analytical skills and problem solving attitude.
