Department

Within Euronext, the Listing Department is in charge of the relationship with listed companies and those contemplating an IPO. Our mission is to promote financial markets and explain to business leaders the benefits of listing and how to better use financial markets once public. In addition, we are supporting a dynamic through creating and promoting new services and financing instruments, developing the investors’ axis, bringing together the ecosystem and lobbying towards European public authorities.

Within the ExpertLine team located in the heart of the market surveillance room, the trainee is always in close contact with the market and its Listing clients (listed companies, financial intermediaries, law firm, etc.) and with the Euronext teams.

Key accountabilities

• Good Understanding of the Euronext’s environment.

• Assisting all the Euronext clients using the support tool dedicated to them (statistics, legal aspects, etc).

• Constant improvement of processes / tools and ensure an high level of quality service in due time

• Answer to questions and requests raised by issuers and third parties ( phone/e mails/ meetings)

• Promote web services dedicated to our clients

• Ensure a treatment of quality and ensure a reactive feedback, within an agreed timeframe, to questions and requests issued by issuers.

• Develop supporting documentation (user guide, factsheet, ...).

• Assistance in the production of statistics for listed companies financial reporting

Profile

• Proven previous experience within a transaction services, investment bank and/or an advisory boutique.

• Good understanding of Equity Capital Markets

• Expert verbal communication skills both internally and externally.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Rigorous, organized, endowed with an excellent relationship and a sense of communication, you are dynamic and you are responsive and initiative. Fluency in English and /or Norvegian is essential.

Within the Group HRIS & HR Services department , the V.I.E. HRIS group project officer will provide support to all our local HR and stakeholders across business,

she/he will pro-actively deliver key HRIS projects and will work closely with the Integration and Operation team .

You should have strong interpersonal skills, be approachable, responsive, results and team oriented, rigorous, proactive, and trustworthy.

As HRIS group project officer , some of your key accountabilities will be to:

HRIS management
• Administration of the HRIS tools at the group level
• Data control management, especially between the main HRIS system Workday and other surround products by monitoring the changes and follow up of some KPI.
• Leading of the interfaces management with the different parties
• Testing of the different evolutions
• Support local team in Porto or in Oslo to manage the different systems via training, update of data, relationship with providers for local specificities

Projects and process improvements
• lead and/or support Group HRIS project like integration of new entities , evolutions of the tools to support the HR community
• Coordinate communication and information of on-going HRIS projects to the HR team across the world

Eligibility criteria of this VIE Program, set by Business France*

• Being between 18 to 28 years old

• Having a European nationality

• Never have declared taxes and no previous work experience in Portugal

Working environment

Team

Euronext Paris events team is composed of a Head of Events, an Event manager as well as a Communication and Events administrator. In the framework of Euronext marketing and communication strategy, the team is responsible of the organization of +/- 250 events per year.

The team members work in close collaboration with the following departments:  marketing, institutional communication, internal communication, human resources as well as with the management of the company. Paris team also exchanges on a daily basis with event managers based in the other Euronext locations. The events team reports to the Group Head of Events.

Events and projects

Events organized by Euronext are at the heart of the group’s marketing and communication strategy.

The Junior Event Officer will assist the team in the organization of major events such as :

• Academic campuses for pre-IPO programs

• European conferences

• Local workshops

• Internal initiatives

In a more autonomous manner,  the apprentice will also asked to help to organize events such as :

• IPO ceremonies

• Private lunches / dinners / cocktails

• Local conferences

• Setting up booths at tradeshows

In addition, the apprentice will be working on pan-European projects and will be highly involved in the integration of new entities within Euronext Group.

Responsibilities

The missions will be organized into two major categories :

Organization of physical, hybrid and virtual events

Ahead of the event

• Suggest events concepts to our clients with the help of the manager

• Validate with internal customers the main stakes of the event

• Prepare guests lists and ensure data reporting

• Manage the sending of invitations and communication emailing

• Select the appropriate suppliers (venue, caterer, signage, animations, etc.) and prepare the related negotiations

• Prepare presentation materials

• Create online and offline visuals in close collaboration with a communication agency

• Ensure the follow-up of deliverables before the event

• Prepare all the materials needed for a smooth running of the event

• Help to design and to set up booths for multiple tradeshows

During the event

• Brief all the suppliers involved in the event

• Represent the company to our external clients

• Ensure the smooth running of the event

After the event

• Prepare post-mortem analysis of events: attendance reporting, analysis of satisfaction questionnaires, etc.

• Create post-event communications: best-of videos, emailing campaigns, etc.

• Manage post-event logistics

Management of communication projects

You will also have to intervene on various missions such as:

• Help on the integration of new Euronext entities

• Coordinate of pan-European projects: event sites designing, processes harmonization, implementation of new event tools, etc.

• Manage events reporting

• Update events dashboard

• Monitor new ideas and trends related to the events industry

Key accountabilities
• Ensure the delivery of market data services, which includes data feeds, distribution agreements as well as market data services*
• Work closely with the IT and Operations staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of transaction, position and market data*

To complement our team of index structuring and business development experts, we are looking for a driven individual to support the Fixed Income branch.

Primary Responsibilities :

The candidate will primarily be responsible for :

• Enhancing the index library with new tools (new calculation formula, risk models, performance attributions …)

• Develop scripts to simulate investment strategies and automate reporting

• Ensuring consistency of internal databases, data quality checks for indices design

Support operations and projects linked with Corporate Services solutions for Governance (iBabs), Compliance (ComplyLog), Communication (Company Webcast), Investor Relations (Advisory and IR Solutions). May be part of the team for one or several of the Corporate Services products/services, notably for iBabs and Company Webcast solutions. 

As an intern in Event Management, you play an essential role in the company, as you have a direct impact on the success of our clients' webinars and webcasts. For many of our clients, the world of webinars is new, and you (alongside an Event Manager) are the one who guides them through all processes and puts them at ease.
