Borsa Italiana Spa, the company responsible for the organization and management of Italian financial markets and now part of the London Stock Exchange Group, provides an internship opportunity in the Markets Pricing Team

Markets Pricing is responsible for structuring pricing schemes for the markets of the London Stock Exchange Group, for both listing and trading services. Pricing, together with Product, Place and Promotion, is one of the four Ps of the Marketing Mix. The London Stock Exchange Group manages this key function with a dedicated team which analyses clients’ behavior, business needs and competitors’ initiatives in order to propose the right pricing scheme for each product/service.

Main activities:

• Market intelligence: international comparison and monitoring of competitors’ initiatives
• Monitoring of pricing initiatives
• Support the design of new pricing models, as well as maintenance of existing ones

The role is open to final-year students or graduates in Economics, Statistics and Maths.

Key requirements:

• Good command of English
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and Access
• Understanding of financial markets and market microstructure
• Accuracy and flexibility to work in a fast and demanding context
• The knowledge of SQL and/or statistical software (e.g. STATA) is desirable
