Graduate Programme

Borsa Italiana, London Stock Exchange Group, is pleased to launch the 2010 Graduate Programme.
The programme
This is a two year fast-track programme designed to develop our next generation of leaders. As a participant on the programme you will gain valuable international business skills and experience across many areas of our business as you develop towards a challenging and rewarding career within the Group.
On joining, you will quickly be given the opportunity to develop first-rate commercial skills at the very heart of the financial markets, in a business where we are proud of both what we achieve and how we achieve it. You will work closely with senior management, build relationships with our clients, carry out meaningful strategic and financial analysis, acquire a comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and build up strong interpersonal and managerial skills.
Training and Development
Over an intensive two year programme you will be provided with the opportunity to develop your leadership potential through a tailored programme which includes:
- Invaluable early international experience through an assignment to our headquarters in London
- Exposure to principal areas of the world of financial services through 4 rotations in our key business areas;
- Extensive technical skills development including a thorough grounding in business finance and corporate strategy;
- Business skills training including project management, client relationship management, presentation and influencing skills;
- Personal development through mentoring and a continuous performance management programme;
- An in-depth and demanding business relevant project requiring significant time input, real workable outputs and a presentation to a senior management project board;
- On successful completion of the programme funding for study of professional qualifications would be made available where appropriate.
What are we looking for?
You will be a talented and highly motivated individual who shares our values and passion for success and growth. You will possess strong intellectual capability but you will also have broader personal skills including excellent communication skills, the ability to establish good working relationships and influence key stakeholders and the motivation and resilience to see projects through to successful completion.
You hold a degree with honours, typically in a quantitative or finance related discipline and are fluent in English. Ideally you will have taken part in extracurricular activities, particularly in a leadership capacity, and evidence of an interest in financial services will benefit your application.
