Banca IFIS is a specialty finance player specialized in financing SMEs with a complete range of financial tools, from short term to medium/long term finance. It is also a leader in the Italian NPL market and it is present in the tax receivables sector. The Banca IFIS Group has a strong and diversified business model which allows to reach outstanding results in terms of profitability and credit quality. The pillars in the management of the Bank that drive all decisions are: profitability, liquidity and solidity. Founded in 1983 by Sebastien Egon Furstenberg, the current chairman, Banca IFIS is listed since 2003 on the Milan Stock Exchange (Star segment) with a current market cap over Eu 1.5 bn. The Bank has recently acquired from GE Capital the former GE Capital Interbanca Group, an historical Italian bank active in corporate lending, factoring and leasing. A previous acquisition was successfully realized by Banca IFIS in 2011 acquiring Toscana Finanza, a company active in distressed loans. On the retail funding side, Banca IFIS successfully launched in 2008 rendimax, an high-yield online saving account.
