Borsa italiana welcomes Cerved Group on MTA

The company is the leader in the Italian market of financial databases. During the placement Cerved has collected approximately euro 490 mln with a market capitalization of approximately 995 million Euros. Banca IMI acted as sponsor and UniCredit as Head of the placement. Mediobanca and JP Morgan were the coordinators of the global offering.

Cerved was founded in 1974 as an information technology company to manage, collect and distribute national databases on behalf of the Veneto Chamber of Commerce. It has grown through the acquisitions of prestigious companies like Databank, Lince, Centrale dei Bilanci, Finservice, Consit, Jupiter and Honyvem. It is now a group capable of providing complete, up-to-date knowledge of the risks and opportunities associated with any business.

Cerved helps both Italian and foreign companies work effectively in Italy. Likewise, the company helps Italian companies do successful business abroad, by suggesting which countries to establish themselves in, by analysing competitors and potential partners, and by providing invaluable credit information to protect against risks.
